French Curve Axe Handle 28”-29” "Edith"

Handle Maker's Series - Reproductions of my handmade axe handles.  These are US made from premium 8/4 American Hickory.  No sorting, only high grade lumber.  

Edith is my take on the elegant French Curve handle.  This pattern has special meaning to me.  It was the first pattern I mastered, and it took hundreds of iterations to get right.

There are few handle shapes that give us a glimpse of the past like this.  Edith needs your help now to be brought back into the fold.  She may be a lady, but she's fierce in the hand.  It's time for you to find an axe from the past and put a handle on it.
