Iwasaki Half-Round Coarse Cut Carving File 10”

My go-to mass material removing file.  This file has replaced my old rasp for two reasons.  One, it removes more material per stroke.  Two, it leave a cleaner finish which requires less sanding.

Perfect for:  Thinning an existing handle, shaping a handle blank, shaping the tongue of the handle for fitting

*Can be used without handle, but you can pick up a file handle for a few bucks at just about any hardware store.
