The Field Hatchet Mk1 – Topo Edition is my interpretation of the perfect all-around field hatchet—built for those who value thoughtful design, premium materials, and tools meant to last a lifetime.

The Topo Edition features a durable Cerakote® finish engraved with a subtle topographic map pattern, inspired by the landscapes that call us outdoors. More than just a finish, it's a tribute to the places where this hatchet is meant to be carried and used.

At its core is a full-tang, hardened 80CrV2 steel construction, delivering exceptional toughness, edge retention, and reliability.

The handle scales are crafted from premium hickory—the same wood I've used for countless traditional axe handles. These scales were individually shaped by hand, then finished with a rich coffee stain that highlights the natural grain while giving this hatchet its own unique character.

Everything is secured with titanium hardware, offering outstanding corrosion resistance and strength while complementing the premium materials used throughout the build.

Every Field Hatchet Mk1 is carefully hand-finished before leaving our shop. The result is a tool that feels broken in from day one—equally at home splitting kindling, making camp, clearing a trail, or riding in the truck for whatever the day brings.

This isn't a collectible designed to stay pristine. It's a working hatchet, built to earn its story one swing at a time.
